The Local Organising Team of the Global Youth Awards is made up of very energetic and enthusiastic young people who share in the vision of creating new role models that they and their peers can look up to. You can read their brief bios below.
Sam
Sam is a unique individual who loves music and is very creative. He is studying ICT and Digital Media at College. Sam's intrests include: Singing, Guitar, Fashion, Music Production, Movies and Friendships. Sam's role in the global youth awards and having a say on what musical guests will be attending the show.

Josh
Josh is a young and fun loving youth leader. he has a hard working attitude and loves nothing more than to be thrown into the deep end without a safety net. currently is in the TEACH home school program. Josh is heading the transport and awards welcoming team and is a vital part of the Global Youth Awards team. |

Segun
Segun is an average teenager. He is currently studying his GCSE. Outside of school, he reguarly plays football and rugby. He is part of the behind the scenes work for the Global Youth Awards 2008.

Katie
Katie I go to St Annes school and am in year 10, studying design and technology, IT, geography and drama. I enjoy singing, cooking, and designing. I am handling the design element of Global Youth Awards.

Amy
Amy is a dynamic youth leader. She is studying Pharmacology at the University of Portsmouth. Amy currently heads the Local Organising Team for the Global Youth Awards 2008. She is responsible for communications between all teams and assists other team leaders in their roles.

Nicola
Nicola is currently a student at Regents Park Community College. She is studying P.E , Geography, Media Studies and Product design plus the core lesson you have to take in school. Im interested in sports, dancing and socialising. Nicola is part of the PR team for the Global Youth Awards.

Socrates
Socrates is the founder of the Global Youth Awards. He has been involved in many youth projects along the years and is currently focusing on the Awards as a way to encourage young people to attain great heights. Socrates currently works as a web information architect by day and a student by night. He coordinates all aspects of the organisation of the Awards.

Tomi
Tomi is in charge of recruiting music artist to perform for the awards ceremony. Tomi is currenly pursuing Media Studies at sixth form college and sees her future in the media and entertainment industry. If you need any information about the musical aspect of the ceremony hesitate to contact Tomi.
